The Ville de Rimouski is receiving over $3.24M in funding from the Government of Quebec to rehabilitate avenue de la Cathédrale. The $5.5M project should begin in May and will be finished by October 2025.
The Musée régional de Rimouski will close indefinitely as of February 17. As a result, the museum will reduce the working hours of three employees and cut four jobs.
Écosite de La Matapédia, a non-profit organization, inaugurated its new ecocentre in Amqui following a $2.5M investment. The Government of Quebec and the Regional County Municipality of La Matapédia partnered on the project.

The Société de développement Angus, a social economy enterprise, began the Quartier Maritime project in Rimouski. The $130M project consists of 324 affordable housing units. The project is supported with $64.3M from Quebec and $24M from the City.

The Government of Quebec invested over $40M in building a 24-classroom primary school in Rivière-du-Loup. The school will welcome its first students in August 2025.
