Are you someone *PASSIONATE *about all things coffee? Do you *LOVE* the smell of espresso, making latte arts, testing out new drinks? *THIS* is the position for you! *Please note: All candidates will be questioned about their knowledge on coffee / espresso during the interview process. If you don't know anything about coffee, this isn't the job for you!* We are seeking a skilled Barista (minimum *one year* of experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. _*Responsibilities*_ - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes and standards - Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment - Creating Latte Art - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in all transactions - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils - Uphold food safety standards and follow proper food handling procedures - Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance the overall guest experience *Skills* -Creating tasty coffee based drinks -Understanding when something tastes off -Be able to answer guest questions about coffees - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours - Previous experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic environment - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.55 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Barista: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationHamilton, ON
