*Description*
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components. This position requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in manufacturing.
*Responsibilities*
* Weld metal components according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders.
* Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
* Inspect materials and parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
* Set up and maintain welding equipment and tools.
* Work with different materials, including steel, aluminum, and other metals.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Perform repairs on damaged parts and equipment as necessary.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
* Assist with fabricating metal parts and components as needed.
* Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
* Other tasks and initiatives as assigned
*Skills and Requirements*
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
* Proven experience as a welder.
* Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks in various positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
