*Overview* Lakeland Plumbing Ltd. is a locally owned and operated plumbing and gas-fitting company based in Penticton, BC. We specialize in trenchless solutions, new construction, renovations, service work, drain cleaning, boiler systems, and gas-fitting. We're looking for a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. If you're eager to build a rewarding career in plumbing, work alongside experienced professionals, and expand your skill set across various plumbing disciplines, we want to hear from you! *Requirements:* * Enrolled in a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program (1st to 3rd year). * Valid Class 5 driver's license. * Ability to supply basic hand tools. * Capable of lifting 75+ pounds. * Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. *Responsibilities:* * Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. * Gradually take on independent installation and repair tasks as skills develop. * Work across various areas, including trenchless solutions, service plumbing, drain cleaning, renovations, gas-fitting, and new construction. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. * Safely use hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently. * Troubleshoot plumbing issues, identify problems, and propose solutions. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Follow all safety regulations to ensure a secure workplace. *Skills:* * Basic plumbing knowledge preferred but not required. * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. * Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely. * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. * Excellent customer service skills. * Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed. *Why Join Us?* * Hands-on training in a variety of plumbing specialties. * Supportive team environment with opportunities for career growth. * Competitive compensation based on experience and progression. * Work with a trusted, locally owned company that values quality and craftsmanship.
