A previous winner of _Barrie?s Employer of the Year_, The Sarjeant Company is considered one of the best places to work in Simcoe County! *We have an opening for a licensed and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Heating and Cooling Service team in our Barrie location. *This role entails performing service calls, installing HVAC equipment, promoting service options, providing excellent customer service, and making recommendations to our residential customers. *Primary Responsibilities* * Perform accurate and comprehensive diagnosis, repairs and maintenance, of HVAC equipment. * Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections. * Provide advice to customers on repairing or replacing existing equipment. * Travel locally to perform tasks (overnights are not needed). *Qualifications/Skills* * Minimum of 2-3 years? experience with furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and water heaters is required. * Air Conditioning experience and or 313D or 313A license is an asset. * Electrical experience and or electrical license is an asset. * Propane experience and or LP license is an asset. * Generator experience and or training is an asset. * Gas License G3, G2, G1, is an asset. * Valid Gas Technician II License is required. * Valid G Driver's License with clean driving abstract is required. * Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal. * Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. * Comfortable working from heights and in confined spaces is required. *Perks:* * Company vehicle provided. * Significant career growth opportunities. * Localized work travel. * Employee Assistance Program and positive work culture. * Benefits following probationary period. *Benefits:* * Casual dress * Dental care / Vision care / Life insurance / Extended health care * Disability insurance * Employee Assistance Program * On-site parking * RRSP match *Schedule:* * 6:00 am - 4:00 pm / Monday to Friday (\*Overtime needs will vary) *Other* The Sarjeant Co Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
