Controlling vehicular parking by issuing tickets to parking violators or by ordering vehicles to be towed are key functions of the position. The incumbent works outdoors in all weather conditions and walks during shifts requiring sufficient physical stamina. Formal Training in conflict resolution and customer service is also required. Familiarity with parking control, bylaw enforcement, court and adjudication processes and experience working in a regulatory field enforcing regulations and gaining compliance are considered assets.
