With a strong focus on supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction, we ensure that our operations meet the highest standards in the industry. *Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team at World Meats. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and supporting our warehouse operations in Canada. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to quality and service. *Responsibilities* * Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. * Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments using warehouse management systems. * Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues with deliveries. * Utilize reach trucks and other equipment for efficient handling of products. * Assist with order picking and packing as needed to support warehouse operations. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the warehouse. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a receiving clerk or in a similar role within a warehouse environment. * Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing. * Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce operations is an asset. * Experience using AS400 or similar inventory management systems is preferred. * Ability to operate reach trucks or forklifts safely and efficiently. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
