Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of food safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and guidelines - Operate grill to cook meats, seafood, vegetables, and other foods - Monitor food temperatures to ensure safe cooking standards are met - Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Assist with food preparation tasks as needed - Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food production Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Ability to handle and cook food products safely - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Education in culinary or cooking experience required - Ability to read and follow standardized recipes - Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures - Must be 19 years old or over - Attention to details - Needs to understand and speak French Skills: - Food safety - Kitchen operations - Food handling techniques - Experience in the restaurant industry - Food service knowledge - Cooking skills - Meal preparation expertise This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment and contribute to the culinary experience for our customers.
