Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Dirty. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment. Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs. Assist cleaners in performing duties. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Establish work schedules. Supervision: 3-4 people. 5-10 people. Light duty cleaners. Specialized cleaners. Working groups. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
