We are looking for a dynamic Registered Dietitian (RD) to work 3 days per week. Hours will be mostly work from home, with some on site work required from time to time in our Burlington office if needed. Under the supervision of the MD, the individual in this position will provide individual medical nutrition therapy for patients within the Wharton Medical Clinic, Weight and Diabetes Management. As a RD, you will use evidence-informed nursing knowledge, skills, and judgment to deliver quality care within the RD scope, helping meet the unique needs of patients managing their weight and diabetes. You will provide assessments, counseling, and health teaching to support patients in making lasting lifestyle changes and improving their overall health. The Wharton Medical Clinic is a multidisciplinary program involving MDs, RDs, counsellors, and nutritionists (www.whartonmedicalclinic.com). Requirements for the position: (1) Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in a 4-year Dietitians of Canada accredited university food/nutrition program degree/discipline or recognized equivalent required or Baccalaureate degree in Applied Human Nutrition or Baccalaureate of Science and successful completion of dietetic internship. (2) Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. (3) . Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
