Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Advise on policies
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Ensure appropriate systems and procedures are developed and implemented to provide budgetary control
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data
  • Office management
  • Prepare reports
  • Manage incidents
  • Act as a link between communities and a range of other local authority and voluntary sector providers
