*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in food preparation and customer interaction will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all patrons. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing customer orders and payments accurately. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. * Assist with food preparation and handling, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking their orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Uphold food safety practices throughout the preparation process, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. *Requirements* * Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. * Knowledge of food safety practices related to food handling and preparation. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A willingness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
