We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to diagnose and repair any issues quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for assistant our technician with; installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial buildings. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. * Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems. * Inspect HVAC systems for compliance with safety standards. * Calibrate and adjust HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. * Test components of HVAC systems for proper operation. * Replace worn or defective parts in HVAC systems. * Document maintenance and repair activities. Qualifications: * Certification as a Refrigeration Technician * Experience in HVAC system installations (residential) * Valid ODP Certification (Ozone Depletion Prevention) * Knowledge of HVAC installation techniques, tools, and safety protocols. * Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment * Valid drivers license with a clean driving record * 1 year of HVAC Technician Assistant Experience (Preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 44 per week Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * driver's license (required) * Gas License (required) * air conditioning & refrigeration license (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationOttawa, ON
