Are you from the Vernon area looking for a full time 8:00am to 4:30pm position? Do you enjoy working with people in an open office environment, like being on the phone and doing general office tasks? Would your friends describe you as outgoing, energetic and resourceful, if so, we would like to hear from you. We are MTS Maintenance Training Systems Inc., a Vernon based training and consulting firm, our primary clients are water and waste water system operators and their operations. We have an entry level opening for an office clerk. This interim, full-time position offers the right candidate a great casual working environment, with the prospects of permanent full time employment, benefits and pay commensurate with your abilities and experience. We seek someone with great energy, exceptional phone manner, advanced working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and be familiar with social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Additional training where required will be provided. Your roll on our team includes office duties such as, phone calls, greeting incoming clients, faxing (yes, still a thing), emailing, filing, data entry, troubleshooting with clients, maintaining office supply inventories as well as course registrations, printing and compiling course materials, light housekeeping, coordinating training venues and catering etc. This is an entry level position and starting wage, our operating systems are unique to MTS, how quickly you adapt combined with your contribution to our success will determine wage advancement opportunities.
