*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *Warehouse Associate* for one of our clients in Cambridge, ON. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and have experience operating various types of equipment. *Responsibilities* * Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. * Utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks for loading and unloading materials. * Perform order picking and packing tasks with accuracy to ensure timely shipment of products. * Build and assemble pallets for storage or shipping purposes. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. * Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. *Experience* * Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with familiarity in using warehouse management systems. * Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in operating heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes. * Experience with order picking processes and techniques is highly desirable. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.
