Jayen Properties is one of Western Canada's leading builders of luxury condominium residences, hotels, and commercial developments. Based in Surrey, BC, Jayen Properties has been involved in development, design, construction and management for over three decades. We are looking for a someone to join our team as Tower Crane Operator. *Duties and Responsibilities* * Conduct daily pre-operational crane inspections * Safely secure loads to rigging and to provide support or prepare them for moving. * Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use. * Work with crane operator daily via radio and hand signals * Follow safe work procedures to assist the tower crane operator with lifting, lowering or moving construction materials and loads * Understand lifting and load bearing capacities of the tower crane * Securing loads with suitable lifting equipment * Signal and direct trucks on site for loading and offloading * Strong knowledge and experience on decks and fly tables. *Qualifications & Knowledge* * Red seal Operator Certification or (A Ticket) * Fall Protection ticket * Ability to work extended hours including weekends * Ability to work in a team environment * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines * Construction experience (asset) We thank all interested applicants for applying, however only qualified candidates will be contacted.
