*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations of the practice.
* Perform administrative duties such as managing inventory of supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the treatment area.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
* Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
* Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix.
* Experience in pediatrics, or CAD is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
