*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in hospital settings and familiarity with medical terminology. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, including children and seniors. *Responsibilities* * Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. * Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and obtaining medical histories. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. * Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. * Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner. * Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed for diagnostic testing. * Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments. * Assist in home care settings when necessary, ensuring continuity of care. *Qualifications* * Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. * Experience in a hospital setting preferred; experience in senior care or home care is a plus. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices. * Ability to phlebotomize effectively and safely. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on empathy and understanding. * Experience working with children is advantageous but not required. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
