The employee will perform deliveries and pick-ups along this route in Vancouver and surrounding areas. Also, when not driving, this position participates in the distribution warehouse activities related to selecting, staging, loading/unloading, receiving and storing of products in a safe and efficient manner.What will you do as an employee at Dawn Foods?To complete daily routes as assigned in a safe and productive manner.Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated location to maintain FIFO inventory system. Maintain proper paperwork according to D.O.T. guidelines and Dawn Food Products procedures.Accurately delivery and handling all product minimizing damages and invoice error ratio.Correctly select, palletize, shrink wrap and stage (per truck) customer orders preparing them for delivery. Provide courteous, professional service to all our customers.Maintain a high level of communication with the teams from customer service, sales and warehouse. Additional responsibilities may include but not limited to delivery of product via carry in, two-wheeler and power walker. Vendors pick-up for product replenishment.What does it take to fit at this role in Dawn Foods?High School Graduate or GED. Maintain a current Class 3 license with a clear driving record.Team members must have the ability to move or lift product from 50 lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as well as to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures. Must understand and be able to operate handheld computer and scanning devices for warehouse management system. Previous experience in warehouse or distribution environment preferred.Computer skills and SAP knowledge is an asset.Additional Skills: Possess the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English and French language. Have the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions or given direction.
