*Job Summary* We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled *Mixologist* to join our exclusive bar team in Toronto. Our venue offers a sophisticated raw bar experience in the evening, complemented by an elegant cocktail and champagne service. This is an exceptional opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented mixologist who aspires to craft extraordinary cocktail experiences for discerning guests. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks. * Create unique drink recipes that align with current trends and customer preferences. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. * Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their beverage choices. * Uphold the physical demands of the role, including safely lifting up to *30 lbs* of weight and navigating stairs while carrying trays, glassware, or other service items. * Maintain agility, efficiency, and poise under pressure during high-volume service. * Train and mentor junior bar staff, as needed, to uphold the venue's standard of excellence. * Collaborate with management to curate a premium cocktail and champagne menu that reflects seasonal and luxury trends. * Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while adhering to cash handling procedures. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders with food service. * Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed. * Stay informed about new products, trends in the food industry, and mixology techniques to enhance skills. *Experience* * A *minimum of 5 years' experience* as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end bar, cocktail lounge, or hospitality establishment. Resumes without this experience will not be considered. * Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail recipes. * Proficiency in math for accurate measurements and cash handling. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. * Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. * Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. * Demonstrated expertise in crafting both classic and contemporary cocktails, with a strong understanding of premium spirits, garnishes, and infusion techniques. * Smart serve * Certificate for Mixologist preferred * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as required. * *Italian-speaking* is considered a strong asset but is not mandatory.
