We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to join our growing team.</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a skilled DZ Driver with moving experience to transport our products to various customer sites and dealers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving, with a focus on safety and efficiency, and the ability to handle heavy materials like windows and glass. This role requires ensuring timely deliveries, proper handling, and maintaining the integrity of products while on the road.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely operate an DZ class vehicle to deliver windows and glass products to various locations, including construction sites and dealers.</li><li>Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and safe manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company guidelines.</li><li>Handle windows, frames, and other materials with care during loading, unloading, and transportation.</li><li>Perform routine vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition and reporting any issues promptly.</li><li>Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring proper placement to avoid damage during transport.</li><li>Communicate with dispatch and management teams to provide updates on delivery status and any challenges encountered.</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery documentation, and vehicle logs.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or customers during deliveries.</li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper securing of loads, use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe driving practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of driving experience, preferably with experience in moving or transporting large and fragile items such as windows and glass.</li><li>Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is an asset.</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy products, including glass, frames, and other materials, safely and efficiently.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and with a team.</li><li>Knowledge of road safety regulations and a commitment to following them.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li></ul><p> </p></div></div>- LocationWoodbridge, ON
