We also provide consultation services with Solution Designers, Architects and Application developers on application design, functions and operational usage that is related to DB2 for z/OS database.This job posting is for Senior Db2 for z/OS DBA. The successful candidate will be involved in analysis, building, testing, and deployment of Db2z Databases and related products:Maintain Db2z Databases on the z/OS platform.providing DDLproviding Plan/Package guidanceBind process.SQL ReviewSQL ExplainPerformance & Capacity advice Provide Data Modeling assistance.Support Db2z application developers.Support Db2z related products.Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:College / University or equivalent work experienceOther Qualifications/Skills/Experience:4-10 years of Db2 for z/OS system and application experience, with most of the following skills:Solid understanding of Db2z Databases internal and/or externalSolid understanding of Db2z component and architectureSound knowledge of Db2z diagnostics tools (Broadcom Db Tools, Db2 Utilities is an asset) Performance analysis skills is an assetSound programming skills, Assembler and Cobol knowledge is an assetGood written and verbal communication skillsThe successful candidate must be a quick learner, a team playerWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
