*Key Responsibilities* * Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment. * Diagnose mechanical problems and repair brakes, transmission, rear-ends, and clutches, hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, and electrical problems. * Complete work orders and send work orders via email to Yard supervisor. * Practice good housekeeping habits. * Versatile and mobile to operate on jobsite when required. * Able to work in inclement weather conditions when on-site. *Summary* As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing various types of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge, power tools, and heavy equipment operation to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your premium skills with excavators and industrial equipment will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, your relevant experience in customer service and automotive repair will contribute to building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their equipment runs smoothly.
