Star Energy is looking for a bright and motivated individual who is willing to work in an entrepreneurial setting. The person will be part of the operations group and will be required to travel to client sites to conduct site visits. In addition to the below-listed responsibilities, the successful candidate will be asked to pick up other responsibilities as and when required. This position is going to start as a 6-month internship and will most likely convert into a full-time opportunity. *Responsibilities* * Conduct on-site energy assessments to identify energy savings opportunities and quantify these energy savings opportunities using engineering calculations and energy management guidelines, * Conduct energy consumption analysis for Baseline Reports, Quarterly Reports, and Annual Reviews, * Work on the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs for clients, and * Assist in the implementation of energy efficiency programs for clients. *Desired Qualifications* * Engineering Technology Diploma in Energy, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 0-3 year(s) of experience, * Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint * Ability to learn quickly on the job, * Willing to travel within Ontario, and * Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $41,842.63-$72,479.58 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Work from home Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oakville, ON Expected start date: 2025-02-01- LocationOakville, ON
