*Join Our Team: Psychologist for Veterans and First Responders*
*Location:* Courtenay, BC
*Type:* Part-Time
*Compensation: * Compensation is based on a *competitive fee-split model*, ensuring transparency and alignment with industry standards. Given the diversity of our client base?including veterans, first responders, and private clients?fees may vary depending on the funding program or contract (Veterans Affairs Canada, PCVRS). At Broken Squirrel Wellness, we?re on a mission to redefine integrated healthcare. Born out of a need for better, faster access to innovative care, especially for first responders and veterans, our 5,000-square-foot clinic offers a space where Eastern medicine, Western medicine, and advanced technology meet.We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced *Registered Psychologist* to join our team. This role involves providing assessments and evidence-based treatments tailored to the unique needs of first responders and veterans, many of whom face challenges like PTSD, chronic pain, and operational stress injuries.

*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct psychological assessments, including those tailored to veterans and first responders.
* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, EMDR, or other relevant modalities.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
* Participate in case reviews and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.
*Qualifications:*
* Registered (or eligible for registration) with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
* Expertise in trauma-informed care and experience working with veterans or first responders.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A desire to innovate and collaborate in a dynamic, integrative care setting.
