We also value the importance of growth, learning and community and place it at the forefront of our employee culture and because of this Amani Hair Studio is excited to continue building that culture at our new Montreal salon. *About The Role* As a Barber at our Toronto location, you will be tasked with providing exceptional and varied hair services for our Toronto clients. Experience in man weave (Toupee)hair cutting, styling, etc., is mandatory for this position. Amani Hair Studio recognizes the importance of sharing knowledge and our candidates should have the ability to do the same when tasked with up skilling future Hairstyling Assistants. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong ability to multitask and a strong understanding of customer service. Finally, we are looking for candidates who thrive in fast paced environments, are passionate about the work they do and lead with excellence. *What You'll Do* * Perform various barber services including, man weave, hair cutting, hair styling, braiding * Clean and maintain equipment to keep them in good condition * Stay up to date on industry trends and techniques to improve hairstyling skills * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service * Train and mentor assistant hairstylist as needed; facilitate braiding workshops *Qualifications* * *2 years industry experience required* * *Experience working with diverse hair types required* * *Experience working with man weave, hairccutting, hair styling, braiding* * Training experience an asset * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Superior client service and high level of professionalism * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Perks And Benefits* * Discounted rates on hair care products * Friends and family discount * Socials, Outings & Retreats * Culture of Learning & Development While we sincerely appreciate all applications, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
