The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for accurate processing of all outgoing and incoming parcels with the understanding that accuracy and efficiency impacts other business functions within the company, Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position. *Major Duties - Shipping* · Pick inventory to fill customer orders · Securely pack inventory in boxes, label and seal · Securely pack large shipments with multiple boxes onto skids · Arrange for carrier pick up and print waybill labels · Process all required paperwork for exporting in accordance with Canada Customs Regulations · Oversee and secure the accurate loading of parcels. · Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required · Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations. · Prepare shipping/export documents for invoice processing and/or filing *Major Duties ? Receiving* · Sign for any incoming parcels noting any visual damages to the package · Unpack parcels, checking part numbers and quantities against the packing slip provided · Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor and complete appropriate paperwork · Input receipts into the computer system · Spot check, repack items, if necessary, and label with MANTECH part numbers in accordance with our purchase order · Store or distribute items as required/requested · Maintain packing slip files arranged by supplier · Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries *Secondary Duties* · Operate a hand truck, fork lift or other equipment to transport goods · Pick stock for other company personnel with proper paperwork · Collect garbage throughout the building for weekly disposal · Break down boxes and prepare cardboard for recycling · Maintain a clean work area and sweep warehouse at end of each shift · Clear outdoor walkways at the back and front from snow and salt as required and record · Maintain bathrooms by replacing paper towels and toilet paper · Complete manufacturing assembly and picking functions for approximately 10 hours / week. · Mow lawn out front, and sides, remove weeds and remove cobwebs, change lightbulbs in building · Prepare board room with tables and chairs, take down furniture, move furniture and assemble furniture as required · Perform other duties as assigned *Qualifications:* *Education: * · College or university degree required *Requirements* · Online shipping, tracking and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, Purolator, etc. · Knowledge of Export Rules and Regulations an asset · Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred · Able to communicate both verbally and in writing · Basic mathematical skills required · Valid driver?s license and good driving record required CVS required · Ability to lift, weigh and measure items · Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck · Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently · Computer literacy including working skills of Excel and e-mail required · Attention to detail in all areas of work · Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills · Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. *General Abilities:* · Manual dexterity to use desktop computer and peripherals · Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required *Working Conditions* · This position may be exposed to elements such as noise and dust. *Training Requirements:* · Receiving and shipping procedures · Forklift training · WHMIS · Safety hazards in the workplace Job Type: Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * Canadian Citizneship (requi- LocationGuelph, ON
