Job details
* Develops and implements optimal routing programs and/or works with the planning team; * Implements all distribution processes * Ensures the transfer of best practices and the implementation of national initiatives. * Manages distribution costs in accordance with agreed budgets and key performance indicators; * Ensures, in collaboration with the National Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, that all trucks are properly maintained * Responsible for meeting the annual expenditure and labour budget for all sites in the region; * Analyze bulk distribution logistics processes and KPIs, suggest and implement recommendations to ensure their improvement and consistency; * Complies with the National Safety Code and other government regulations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Knowledge of the transport of dangerous goods (TDG) * Knowledge of trucking industry rules and regulations; Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * industrial/cryogenic gases industry: 4 years (preferred) * Warehouse distribution: 5 years (preferred) * Leadership: 3 years (preferred) * Dispatching: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
