Our company is looking for a Controller to strengthen its team. Does working with numbers motivate you? Are you rigorous, efficient and fluently bilingual? Then join our team!<br><br>Here's what your tasks will look like:<br><ul><li>With the assistance of the Assistant Controller, manage all accounting operations, including payables, receivables, production accounting, general ledger and advice, as well as cost, inventory and revenue accounting.</li><li>Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures.</li><li>Prepare and control cashflow.</li><li>Coordinate and take responsibility for budgeting and financial forecasting, and report variances.</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements including quarterly reporting required by public company.</li><li>Coordinate other regulatory reporting.</li><li>Investigate technical accounting issues for compliance purposes as required.</li><li>Manage and comply with federal, state and local government reporting and tax filing obligations.</li><li>Implement and detail operational processes and accounting policies to ensure and strengthen internal controls.</li><li>Coordinate the activities of external auditors.</li><li>Be predisposed to do any work that is necessary to complete monthly tasks.</li></ul> <br> <ul><li>Thoroughness and analytical skills;</li><li>Sense of confidentiality;</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities;;</li><li>Bilingualism;</li><li>Collaborative spirit;</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;</li><li>Organized, loyal and versatile</li></ul><br>QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with concentration in accounting</li><li>English required;</li><li>At least 5 years' experience in accounting;</li><li>Experience in manufacturing accounting</li></ul>- LocationGranby, QC
