Northern Lights Public Schools invites internal applications for the following position: S2425-43 INTERNAL Assistant Custodian - Cold Lake High School We are seeking a part- time (0.5 fte) Assistant Custodian to commence January 2, 2025. The assignment involves assisting the Head Custodian and working after school hours for 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Cold Lake High School is located in the City of Cold Lake with approximately 624 students in grades 10-12.Cold Lake High School is innovative, collaborative and passionate in the delivery of high quality education to every student. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform a variety of custodial and maintenance duties essential to maintain the cleanliness and care of the school facilities Monitor and report meter readings Inspect grounds, play equipment and structures Preference will be given to applicants who have: Physical ability to do the required work Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all levels of school personnel and students Ability to work in a team environment Committed to building an atmosphere of trust, competence, confidentiality and positive service to the school and community Previous CUPE custodial experience How to Apply: Interested applicants are required to create and complete all sections of their portfolio through the 'Apply On-Line' link on our website, in the career section.
