*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of equipment and machinery to support agricultural operations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and proficiency with both power and hand tools. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. *Responsibilities* * Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, nursery forklifts, pallet jacks and farm machinery for various agricultural tasks. . * Utilize power tools and hand tools for tasks related to irrigation, gardening, and other farming activities. * Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment around the site. * Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. * Keep accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. *Experience* * min 1 year proven experience in forklift operation is required * Familiarity with farm machinery and agricultural practices * Basic math skills are necessary for measuring materials and calculating quantities. * Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues. * Previous experience using power tools and hand tools in an agricultural or construction setting is advantageous.
