*Role Overview:*We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager with 5-7 years of public relations experience, with exposure to government relations projects. The successful candidate will lead and manage client accounts, develop and execute strategic plans, and contribute to the agency's growth through exceptional client service and innovative approaches.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies, including media relations, content creation, and event planning.
* Manage government relations initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, advocacy campaigns, and policy research.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trust-based relationships.
* Coordinate and oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure client objectives are met.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
* Stay informed about industry trends, political developments, and policy changes that impact client objectives.
* Contribute to new business development through proposal writing and pitching.
*Qualifications:*
* 5-7 years of experience in public relations, with some exposure to government relations.
* Strong understanding of the North American media landscape, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy strategies.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
* Experience working in an agency setting is preferred.
