(Onsite with limited hybrid arrangements considered)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our national engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical engineering projects from proposal development to project execution and completion. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

*Responsibilities:*
*Proposal Development:*
* Write proposals responding to requests and proactively seek opportunities.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, calculate fees, and finalize proposals.
* Submit proposals and follow up with potential clients.
*Project Management and Engineering:*
* Manage all aspects of electrical engineering projects, from design and development to execution and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Coordinate and delegate engineering tasks within the Technical Services team, collaborating closely with the mechanical engineering department.
* Design and draft project-specific details using CAD software.
* Manage internal and external resources to optimize project outcomes.
* Complete and submit distributed generation applications to utilities.
* Conduct site visits to meet professional obligations and provide support.
*Administration:*
* Maintain project information in the project management platform.
* Manage invoicing and related administrative tasks.
*Technical Support:*
* Develop a strong understanding of Charge Solar's product catalog.
* Provide technical assistance to clients in the field.
* Offer limited technical advice on renewable energy products.
*Team Support:*
* Actively participate in team and company-wide meetings, contributing technical expertise and design information.
* Support the team in developing and improving project delivery processes.
* Mentor junior staff, technologists, and engineers-in-training in their professional development.
* Assist the sales, marketing, business development, and operations team in various activities as they relate to engineering services.
*Qualifications:*
*Required:*
* Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation in Electrical Engineering.
* Licensed to practice professional engineering in several Canadian jurisdictions, or the ability and willingness to obtain the necessary licenses.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or DraftSight.
*Preferred:*
* Project management training or certifications.
* Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
* Relevant training or experience in renewable energy system design or implementation will be considered a strong asset
* Experience with renewable Connection Impact Assessments (CIA) and ESA plan review submittals
