*Job Overview* We are seeking creative and detail-oriented Merchandisers to join our dynamic team for an upcoming store remerchandising project. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. This role requires a keen eye for design, strong communication skills, and a passion for retail. The *position will start in early December 2024 on a part-time basis *to allow for some training, and transition to *full-time on January 7th, 2025*. Therefore, it is imperative that candidates have full availability from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, to be considered for this position. The project is estimated to run into early April 2025 after which time candidates will be reevaluated for their suitability in other departments within the store. *Duties* * Collaborate with merchandising team leads to create visually appealing displays that align with brand guidelines. * Communicate effectively with store management and staff to implement merchandising plans. * Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and understanding their needs when opportunities arise * Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines *Qualifications* * Strong visual design skills with an understanding of retail sales principles. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and customers. * Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is a plus. * Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * A passion for visual merchandising and an eye for detail are essential for success in this role.
