*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for our passengers, which may include seniors and children. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility. The Bus Driver will ensure that all passengers are treated with respect and care while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. *Duties* * Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to their designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical soundness. * Assist passengers in boarding and alighting from the bus, providing support as needed, especially for seniors or children. * Maintain a clean and organized bus interior. * Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in service. * Address passenger inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. * Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of all passengers. * Keep accurate records of daily trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transit. *Experience* * Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements is required. * Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred; experience working with seniors or children is a plus. * Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish and English, are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse passenger groups. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. * Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for performing routine vehicle checks and addressing minor issues. * Ability to write reports or logs as necessary for record-keeping purposes.
