*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves transporting individuals to various destinations, including schools, senior care facilities, and community events. A strong emphasis will be placed on punctuality, adherence to traffic laws, and maintaining a clean vehicle. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate a bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Ensure the safety of passengers by conducting pre-trip inspections and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition. * Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed, especially for seniors or those with disabilities. * Educate passengers on safety protocols and bus rules during transit. * Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during the trip. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any delays. *Skills* * Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred to effectively communicate with diverse passenger groups. * Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues as they arise. * Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers. * Experience in commercial driving is highly desirable, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). * Ability to write clear reports regarding incidents or maintenance needs. * Familiarity with senior care practices is a plus, enhancing interactions with elderly passengers. * Multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving a broader community base.
