<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We are a small company that prides itself on superior workmanship and is focused on high-quality residential and commercial buildings and renovations in the Kitchener-Waterloo Area.</p><p>We are currently looking for a reliable individual to help on sites with a wide variety of tasks, including demolition, clean-up, framing, drywall installation, and more. Lift, sort and move materials on the construction site. Operate basic power tools and/or equipment, as assigned</p><p>If you feel you are a good fit and have as a minimum the following qualifications, please forward us your cover letter & resume:</p><ul><li>Undertake framing carpentry and finishing carpentry</li><li>Installation of doors, windows, associated hardware, and trim, both in retrofit and new construction situations</li><li>Roof design and construction - truss and hand cut.</li><li>Stair design and construction - open and closed riser</li><li>Deck and railing construction</li><li>Maintenance and organization of all tools and equipment.</li><li>Always keeping a clean and safe work site.</li><li>Accurately completing all required record-keeping forms and logs.</li><li>Promote teamwork and offer ideas and solutions as required.</li><li>Learn and apply safe work practices (proper use of equipment, personal protection safeguards, OHS regulations, fire and emergency procedures, WHMIS hazardous materials)</li><li>Immediately communicate any observations of on-site issues related to health and safety and/or preventative maintenance to your Supervisor, Manager, or appropriate designated staff.</li><li>Eventually be capable of undertaking smaller design and building projects as you progress through the apprenticeship program.</li><li>Must have the ability to lift 50+ lbs. and walk for extended periods.</li><li>Must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions</li></ul></div></div>- LocationNorth Woolwich, ON
