We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician for our client in Hamilton, ON. If you have a passion for troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems, we would love to hear from you. *Responsibilities:* * Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems, including motors, transformers, generators, and control systems. * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance. * Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. * Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards. * Collaborate with other team members, including maintenance and production staff, to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. * Document all repairs, maintenance, and inspections accurately. *Qualifications:* * Valid 442A or 309A Industrial Electrician license is an asset. * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and control panels. * Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. * Must have reliable transportation. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * Industrial Electrician: 3 years (required) * Blueprint reading: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Journeyman Trade Certificate (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationHamilton, ON
