*Job Overview:* MECS Engineering Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team specializing in piping engineering, stress analysis, pressure vessels, civil and structural design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management and technical expertise in the design, analysis, and verification of engineering drawings and documents. This role requires strategic leadership, effective communication, and a hands-on approach to managing complex engineering projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design and analysis of piping systems, stress analysis, pressure vessels, civil and structural design. * Coordinate with other disciplines like Electrical and I&C. * Oversee the development of engineering solutions that meet technical, budgetary, and schedule requirements. * Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. * Coordinate multidisciplinary projects to deliver optimized solutions. * Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. * Review and approve engineering calculations, reports, and drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy. * Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members. * Lead risk assessments and ensure that engineering designs are cost-effective, reliable, and safe. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering field. * Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification is preferred. * Knowledge of the Canadian Registration Number (CRN) registration process for pressure equipment is desirable. * 8+ years of experience in the related field. * Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards. * Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and projects. * Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high standards of safety and quality. *Why Join MECS Engineering Inc.?* At MECS Engineering, we are committed to innovation, safety, and excellence.
