Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing East Coast family company, with Platinum Member status in Canada's Best Managed Companies Program, is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company's team as a Field Service Technician - Generators for Small Vessel Fleet and Feed Systems. The facility is located in St. George, N.B. area. Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. The Role Positions offer full-time, year-round employment. Primary duties include: Support the installation of Generators.Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment associated with generators.Inspect and test generator systems to ensure proper operation.Inspect and maintain electrical systems; wiring, connections etc.Perform routine and preventative maintenance of generators.Ensure scheduled maintenance are completed by crew as per OEM procedures.Prepare and submit reports related to generator maintenance.Maintain accurate records of equipment.Ensure safety and compliance with the regulations. The ideal candidate must be: A self-motivated team player who possesses excellent problem-solving skills. Minimum of 5 years experience preferred. Must possess either Electrical Journeyman or Mechanical Journeyman. Periodic travel to interprovincial facilities & vessels and the ability to be on-call rotation is a requirement. Preference will be given to applicants who have a background in and understanding of preventative maintenance and inventory monitoring.
