*Job Title:* Full-Time Physician Assistant *Location:* Ajax Family Practice & Walk-In Clinic 901 Harwood Ave. North, Unit 101, 201-204, Ajax, ON *Job Description:* Ajax Family Practice & Walk-In Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Physician Assistant (PA)* to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, assist physicians in clinical duties, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations. * Diagnose and manage common illnesses and injuries. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as labs and imaging. * Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision. * Prescribe medications and counsel patients on medication regimens. * Assist with in-office procedures and minor surgical interventions. * Provide preventive care, including immunizations and health education. * Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. *Qualifications:* * Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. * Certification with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) or equivalent. * Current and unrestricted licensure in Ontario. * Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply). * Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Ability to work both independently and within a team. *Work Schedule:* * Full-time position (40 hours per week), including some evenings and weekends. *Compensation:* * Competitive salary commensurate with experience, split 50/50 *How to Apply:* Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resume and cover letter to [insert email address] with the subject line *"Physician Assistant Application ?
