*Position Purpose and Objectives* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of food processing equipment and other plant areas meets food safety standards set out by the facility. *Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities* * Performing daily sanitation duties including cleaning, sanitizing processing equipment and facility areas to meet food safety standards and maintain regulatory compliance. * Following company policies relating to GMP, food safety, chemical handling(WHMIS), SOP?s / SSOP?s, and occupational health and Safety. * Communicating and working with other departments and management to achieve operational success. * Additional duties as assigned. *Applicable knowledge, Skills, and experience* * Attention to detail to ensure effective sanitation of equipment and facilities. * Experience with safe chemical handling practices (WHMIS) and usage of required personal protective equipment (PPE) are an asset. * Ability to lift up to 25 kg. * Ability to work with limited or no supervision. * First Aid level 1certification preferred but not required. *Working Conditions* Work in refrigerated/frozen, hot, or wet environments. In-person; Full-time Monday to Friday (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM shift) *Minimum Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent.
