Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate. Type of materials: Aluminum alloys. Nickel alloys. Stainless steel. Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Flux core arc welding (FCAW). TIG. MIG. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Initiative. Values and ethics. Reliability.
