Alavida Lifestyles is looking for *Casual Housekeepers *for our retirement residence located in *Nepean - Ottawa, ON*. The Housekeeping Associate reports directly to the Concierge Manager, and is responsible to keep a clean, safe environment for the Residents, visitors and staff members. *Must be available to work occasional weekends as needed.* _*RESPONSIBILITIES*_ * Clean, dust and vacuum Residents' suites and public areas * Clean and sanitize Residents' bathrooms and all public washrooms as per schedule * Empty garbage daily from Residents' suites and common areas * Perform deep cleaning of suites when they are vacated * Sort, wash, dry and fold personal and retirement community laundry * Performs other duties as requested _*QUALIFICATIONS*_ * Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a retirement residence or hospitality setting * Ability to work quickly and efficiently to maintain Resident suites and common areas * Ability to work independently and within a team environment * Must have a passion for working with seniors _Alavida Lifestyles is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.
