Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Urban area. Budgetary responsibility: 0 - $100,000. Tasks: Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget . Plan and organize daily operations. Set staff work schedules. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Cost products and services. Organize and maintain inventory. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Provide customer service. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Driving record check (abstract). Criminal record check. Reference required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
