Job details
At Food World Supermarket, we are looking for Junior Accountant who is responsible for managing all financial transactions of the supermarket's operations. Junior Accountant will work closely with a team to manage financial functions, including from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, accounts payable/ receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, audits and inventory management. Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the grocery store Process and reconcile daily sales transactions Prepare and submit timely financial reports to management Monitor and track inventory levels and costs Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Monitor QuickBooks and ensure payments are being posted/reconciled in a timely manner Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Collaborate with- LocationEtobicoke, ON
