*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience while adhering to food safety and handling standards. *Duties* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. * Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations. * Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service. * Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. * Comply with all food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring proper food handling at all times. * Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed. *Skills* * Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality sector. * Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. * Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and helping guests feel welcome. * Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
