*Overview* Integrated Functional Health is expanding our Aesthetics department and looking for an exceptional Acupuncturist who has certification and expierience in cosmetic acupuncutre services. In addition to offering acupuncture facials and body treatments, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a deep understanding of medical terminology focusing on the client's overall well-being and recovery. *Duties* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their health needs and treatment goals. * Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations. * Administer acupuncture treatments in a safe and effective manner, ensuring patient comfort throughout the process. * Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and other complementary therapies. * Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. * Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques and practices through ongoing education and training. *Qualifications* * Valid registration & certification as an Acupuncturist with the Province of BC. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and its application in patient care. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients in English. * Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care and well-being. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
