Boss is a major manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of premium industrial and commercial lubricant products, supplying them throughout Central and Western Canada and the Northern and Central United States. With our continued growth strategy and our goal to maintain our reputation as the largest independent manufacturer of lubes and greases in Western Canada, we are looking for an experienced *Shipper* to join our team in Calgary to help them achieve greater efficiencies and maximize production levels to satisfy increasing demands. Boss Lubricants offers competitive wages, unique incentives plans, RRSP plan with company matching, excellent health & dental benefits and a fun team environment with great leadership. *Responsibilities:* * Assembles orders for customers ? choosing appropriate products and stock in conjunction with the client?s order; * Loads and unloads products and materials to and from transport vehicles, either by hand or using basic material handling equipment; * Operates a variety of equipment for the purposes of loading, unloading and moving materials and products, including a forklift; * Itemizes, reviews and assesses returned products and/or incoming products; * Ensures quality control on all products leaving the warehouse; * Packs and unpacks goods; * Organizes and stacks goods into shelving racks for efficient retrieval; * Assists with incoming raw materials and other merchandise. * Helps maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse area, including sweeping and cleaning up any spills, removing pallets and empty drums and keeping the aisles clean and clear of any debris; * Other duties as assigned *Qualifications/Requirements:* * Completion of High School * Experience working in a warehouse environment * Forklift experience is required * Good attention to detail * Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg?s) * Diplomacy in dealing with internal and external clients * Takes pride in his/her work Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Shipping & receiving: 3 years (preferred) * Forklift: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Forklift License (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
