_*Our business is Hospitality!*_ The *Best Western Plus Edmonton Airport Hotel* is located just 5 minutes from the Airport in vibrant downtown Leduc. The hotel has undergone a transformation over the past 5 years and now has 116 fully renovated room, 5, 000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, a pool with a waterslide and *Barney?s Pub & Grill* which features a fantastic menu and a first in Canada Pour Your Own Beer Wall. We have an exciting career opportunity for a talented hospitality professional with a passion for quality, hospitality & leadership. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellence. They will also demonstrate humility combined with passion & dedication, a positive & optimistic attitude, be open & approachable with an ability to inspire others. We are looking for a full-time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Desk Team. This a great position for someone who loves people and can multi task. *Qualifications:* * Diploma in Hotel Management considered an asset * Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent and/or Night Auditor (minimum 2 years) * Familiar with using Jonas Chorum considered an asset * Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Effective communicator in English both written and verbal * Strong numeracy and literacy skills * Excellent problem solving skills, time management skills *Position Details:* * Full-Time, Permanent, hourly * Shifts rotate and including weekends and holidays * Shift time is typically 7:00am to 3:00pm, 3:00pm to 11:00pm and 11:00pm to 7:00am , but is subject to change based on the needs of the business *What we offer:* * Competitive salary, excellent health benefits after 3 months (shared cost), RRSP Matching Program (match begins after 1 year), hotel discounts, training opportunities * We have an extensive health and safety program. * We have been recognized as an Employer of Choice for several years through the Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association Please apply with resume and cover letter via email.
